Directions

First open the package of the tofu.Drain all the water inside it. Now remove the excess water with cotton cloth or duster.

Once the tofu has totally drained excess water cut it into cubes.

Take a mixing bowl and add 2 tbsp Cornflour, 1/4 tsp red chilli powder and 1/4 salt.Mix it well. Add all the tofu cubes into the mixing bowl.Gently toss and mix it well so that all the tofu pieces coated evenly. Keep it aside for 15 minutes.

Add 2 tsp soya sauce, 1 tsp tomato sauce , 1 tbsp sesame seeds and water in a bowl. Mix it well and keep aside.

Heat 1 tbsp sesame oil in a pan. Once the oil heated up add all the tofu cubes and fry it on a low medium heat till light brown on all sides. Take it out in a bowl.

In the same pan add 1 tbsp chopped garlic. Give it a quick Stir. Add sesame sauce mixture and mix it well.

Make Cornstarch slurry by taking 1 tbsp Cornflour and 1 tbsp water in a bowl .Mix it well so that no lumps occur. Add the cornstarch slurry into the pan. Stir quickly.

When it start to thicken add fried tofu pieces into it.Mix it well so that the tofu pieces coated evenly. Then add 1 tsp honey and give a mix. Switch off the flame after few seconds.

ransfer it to a plate and enjoy your honey sesame tofu.
