Gobi Paratha Recipe | Gobi Ka Paratha | Phoolkopi Porota Recipe is also known as Cauliflower Paratha which is basically a north indian or punjabi cuisine paratha.
Gobi Paratha is stuffed with grated cauliflower and the bread is prepared with flour dough.
Ingredients
Directions
Cauliflower Filling: Take grated cauliflower in a bowl.
Add all the spices in the grated cauliflower. Don’t add salt at this stage.
Add onion, green chilli, coriander leaves and grated ginger.
Mix it well and keep aside.
Knead Dough: In a bowl take 2 cup wheat flour and add ½ tsp salt. Mix it well.
Add 1 tbsp oil and mix it.
Add water as required and knead it to make a smooth dough. Cover and leave the dough for 10 to 15 mins.
Before filling the stuffing add salt into the cauliflower mixture and mix it well.
Filling and Rolling Paratha: Keep some flour in a plate for dusting.
Knead the dough once more and make equal sized balls.
Take dough balls and dust it with dry flour. Roll it into roti shape.
Put the stuffing mixture at the center of the roti. Seal the edges.
Press it gently and evenly.
Apply some dust flour on both the sides. Roll it.
Cook Gobi Paratha: Heat a tawa on medium flame.
Place a stuffed paratha on tawa.
Cook for 5 to 6 secs on a low medium flame .
Flip it and apply some oil or ghee.
Flip it again and apply ghee on the other side.
Cook the parathas till it turns golden brown on both the sides.
Once it is cooked properly from both the sides take it out in a plate.
Serve gobi paratha hot or warm with sauce, pickle or chatni.
