Masala Pav Recipe is a Mumbai street food which is too yummy and spicy. Here you can get step by step process with some photos.

Masala pav is very much similar to pav bhaji as some of the ingredients are same like onion , capsicum, tomato except smashed potato. You can make it with just few ingredients within a few minutes .Other than breakfast recipe this will be a tasty and yummy snacks recipe too.



Step 1

Rinse and finely chop one medium size onion , tomato and one small capsicum. Take 3 to 6 garlic cloves(grated) .

Step 2

Then take a pan and add 1 tbsp butter. You can use refine oil also instead of butter.

Step 3

Now Add finely chopped onions. Stir well. Fry it for a minute on a medium flame.

Step 4

Add capsicum and grated garlic cloves.Mix well.

Step 5

Add finely chopped tomatoes.Stir and cook for 3 to 4 minutes on a low medium flame.

Step 6

Now add salt as per taste and 1 tbsp pav bhaji masala and chat masala. You can add red chilli powder also if you want more spicy.

Step 7

Stir and mix all the masalas very well.

Step 8

Cook for 1 to 2 min. Then add 1/3 cup of water.

Step 9

Let the masala cook on a low medium flame so that it cooked well. Cover and cook for 3 to 4 min.

Step 10

Now bring the masala to one side of the pan.

Step 11

Melt some butter on the other side of the pan.

Step 12

Place the pav slices on the butter. Toast it lightly. You can add more butter if you want .

Step 13

Now place the masala on the pav slices with the help of spatula.

Step 14

Your masala pav is ready to be served. Now melt some more butter and toast the other pav in the same way.

Step 15

Take out on a plate and garnish it as per your choice.
